Originally established in 1993, the Glenmarie Golf & Country Club was the brainchild of Tan Sri Dato’ Jamil Mohd Jan. He had the vision to transform a 450-acre stretch of land into a lush golf course that would draw in enthusiasts from across the world. The doors of Glenmarie Golf & Country Club were officially opened to its patrons on 29th January 1994 and the inauguration ceremony was graced by the 4th Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Over the following years since its inception, the establishment started gaining popularity amongst pro-golfers and we became recognised in the global golfing arena. It is now one of the preeminent golf clubs in South Asia and had hosted a variety of prestigious local and international golfing events.
